Merina

Merina is a super spunky gal with a great sense of style and a love for spongebob memes. She’s always the light in every room with her beautiful flowing locks and gorgeous looks. Her heart is as pure gold with some even saying she’s the kindest person they’ve ever met. Merina’s have a soft spot for grilled cheese and most importantly, animals. Merina’s usually put their hearts in lead over their head which can sometimes cause conflict, but they stay true to who they are and what they believe.

The practice of stealthily avoiding buying your round of beer at the pub.

Waiting until others are so drunk that they don't notice you never bought a round of pints during the evening.

Eoin: "Who's round is it?"
Pete: "I bought two rounds of 7 pints already tonight".
Eoin: "Me too, Steve how many rounds did you buy?"
Steve: "Oh ho, I bought the last round"
Paul: "No you didn't, you ordered it but I payed for it!"

Plural: Merlings/mermen.
The word is used sometimes in the "a song of ice and fire" book series from G.R.R. Martin.
