Net Literacy

Net Literacy is the process of increasing computer access, computer and Internet literacy, and Internet safety and financial literacy awareness together with a users own personal interest to create a value proposition that results in an indivdual understanding the value of boadband and the Internet. Net Literacy results in digital inclusion. A youth empowered organization uses Net Literacy process in a wiki-management style to increase digital inclusion.
Organizations that use the Net Literacy process reduce the digital divide by increasing digital inclusion.

Overly-Critical Literacy

A pedagogy that involves obsessing on minutiae, errors and trivialities in a text in which critical literacy issues are analyzed.
In his paper he used Overly-Critical Literacy, ignoring the issues of power and social justice in favor of discussing a misplaced semi-colon.

digital literacy corps

The "digital literacy corps" is an initiative to increase digital inclusion, reduce the digital divide, and to increase broadband adoption via the use of teams of volunteers to work with population groups that have lower broadband adoption rates, teaching them "digital literacy."
In 2003, Net Literacy's team of student volunteers created a digital literacy corps that helped teach senior citizens, the disabled, and families with lower incomes, among others, how to use a computer and the Internet and identify their own personal broadband value propositon to help increase broadband adoption rates.

media literacy

Media Literacy describes the act of being capable of handling different forms of media and being competent,critical and literate. It means being in control of what to interpret into things we see or hear and believing everything right away.
Media literacy is about helping people to become more competent with what they see/hear etc in the media and be critical about it.

AI literacy

AI literacy is having a basic understanding of what AI is, how it is impacting the world around you, and knowing how you can leverage it in your career or in your future. AI Literacy is a Net Literacy program and a website that helps parents and teachers show teens the what and how of AI literacy through the use of videos , games, articles and experiments.
AI literacy, just like ICT or net literacy, is changing our world and is necessary for all of us to have to be able to make discerning educational, career and life decisions.
