A strange place in which a friendship has developed into something more than a friendship yet nothing physical has actually happened. Discussion about this new level of relationship between the couple involved may or may not take place. It is also likely that mutual friends will notice a new intensity in their friendship. It is especially common amongst lesbians where the line between friendship and dating can become blurred.
