For the installation of hair extensions/weave ("sew-in"), the hair is again tightly braided on the scalp, but only by single braided sections about 1-2 inches apart from each other; the extensions (or "tracks") are then sewn-in to the single cornrow braid, secured, then repeated on the next cornrow braid.
