What started as a misunderstanding between one witty English scholar and a German student with poor English one day in a Yahoo! chat room soon became what is known today as the connex phenomenon. Connex is now used in chat rooms, IRC, and e-mail alike and is yet another one of the internet trends. Basically it can mean any action, reaction, word with implied meaning, or even as a redundant word. Usually it is just used to piss people off, but a lot of times it is also used to try and refer to something without actually saying it.

Connex Troll

A term largely used by soldiers in Iraq to describe someone who spends the majority of their time in a Connex. The Connex Troll is gerneraly extremenly protective of the contents inside the connex and is angered easily. The Connex Troll is usually very lax in his personal hygene due to the extreme heat inside the connex. When entering a connex guarded by a Connex Troll use caution. Connex Trolls are very territorial and their reaction to an intruders presence can be violent and unsafe.

That Connex Troll sure got mad when I asked him for a part.

The Connex Troll yelled at me for just walking by.

That guy never leaves the FOB all he does is stay in his connex.

Connecticut Valley Hospital

A psych hospital that has been around since the mid 1800's. Use to have thousands of lunatics, maniacs, sociopaths and generally batshit crazy people but in the last few decades has greatly down sized and many of the buildings are empty or being torn down. The ones left are creepy as hell and legend has it there are chains on the walls and all kinds of spooky shit in the basements. Colloquially known as the "Nut House', "Bug House" or "Loony Land", the patients left are mostly junkies, sexual perverts and anti social assholes. Nobody knows what happened to all the lunatics and maniacs.

Connecticut Valley Hospital has some really spooky shit hidden in those basements and attics.
