When you are doing something at work that is not work-related that requires your full attention, such as playing a video game, and a co-worker suddenly pops in forcing you to make it look as if you are busy and hide your game (such as with alt-tab). After the co-worker leaves, you typically return to your video game to find your character dead.

Joe: Hey man what are you doing? Are you gonna help us capture the flag?
Bob: Sorry I got coworked! Had to alt-tab!

co-workers with benefits

This is similar to friends with benefits with a spin on it. It refers to the people who work together and hook up. They aren't in a serious relationship with each other, they only use each other for sex. And if they are married, not to each other, even better.

In the movie, Secretary, the character played by James Spader and the character played by Maggie Gyllenhall were co-workers with benefits.

The Coworker Curve

A grading scale of coworker hotness that tends to form after weeks, months, or years of working among the same individuals. Based on the coworker curve, the least ugliest becomes the hottest and the ugliest becomes the least hottest.

The coworker curve has similar effects as beer goggles. It no longer relies on common sense standards of hotness and sex appeal. For most it happens subconsciously, you'll walk into a workplace for the first time and see all 2's and 5's (out of 10), and months later you'll find yourself checking out that same 5 as if they were a 9. Or even worse, you start bringing that fugly beat to parties and showing them off to your friends.

Coworker: I thought Sally was pretty ugly when I first started working here, but after a few months..... she's actually pretty cute.
Me: Yea, she's cute based on the coworker curve , but uglier than shit in real life.

hot dog cookers

Hot dog cookers are metal stick figures in the shape of a man with an extra appendage between his legs. Chefs use the extra appendage to scewer hot dogs (other tubed meat is also exceptable) and then places the entire apperatuce on a Bar-be-que or grill. Processed meats will then cook by the heat from the grill and the heat also cooks the meat inside out due to the impaledness of the hot dog cooker apperatice. The entire ordeal makes a delecious hot dog as it is cooked inside and out and also serves as a hilarious party gag due to the falice like resemblence of a metal stick figure with a flesh like boner

Sean used a hot dog cooker at the last gay frat party he attended.

When a coworker, with whom you are friends, declares you to be "merely a coworker" thereby terminating the friendship.

My good friend at work, who happens to be very attractive and who I would totally ask out on a date if we did not work together, has totally coworkerzoned me. No more friendly banter or coffee talk. I have been demoted and expelled from the friendzone.

The Coworker Zone

Pretty much the brother of the friend zone, but indeed worse. She only wants to socialize with you at work. Say goodbye to any plans that you might've had with her, because she won't be seen with you unless it's at work.

Billy: I've tried to set plans up with her outside of work, but she never comes through. She agrees to while we're working together, but then she leaves me in the dark afterwards

John: You, my friend, have just been thrown into "The Coworker Zone".
