beatmania

A real-time DJ simulator that requires players to press keys arranged similar to a piano and/or spin a turntable and/or pressing a pedal when instructed by falling dashes. Three versions currently exist: beatmania (having 5 keys and a record), beatmania IIDX (adding two keys, current game being produced), and beatmania III (5 keys, a record, and a pedal). People playing the game seem like they have no lives, as it takes awhile to play without looking at the controller and to spin the turntable efficiantly. There is one US release of beatmania to date and the release was not as accepted compared to Guitar Hero II, released around the same time, so the only way to get better songs is to import the games.

Beatmania III

The third branch of the Beatmania series.

This version is similar to Beatmania by using the 5 key format, but it also contains a foot pedal. (Using it is optional) There is also a disk drive to save game records, a headphone jack, and the cabinet is really tall and has a bunch of lights compared to an original Beatmania game.

This game is a DJ simulator where you press the keys and scratch the turntable with the corresponding notes on screen. To be good at this game, you have to be good at playing music, and you will quickly have to learn the format of the notes that scroll down the screen.

Beatmania III is extremely rare in the U.S. (except in California).

breadman

An evil and irate man who bakes bread. He will not rest until all the peoples of the earth feast upon his multi-seeded bread, toasted, with raspberry jam. He flits like a ghost between the racks of bread in his bakery and browbeats his assistants when they attempt to - as he perceives it - undervalue his produce.

I saw the Breadman today. He's baked a gingerbread man that looks just like me, and it's hanging above the shelf. I'm scared.
