SAS (Social Awkwardness Syndrome)

One who is uncontrollably awkward in social situations. This person, in normal everyday life, may seem rather normal, but when thrown into a social situation, the person is suddenly petrified, unable to speak or act in any way that is not completely uncomfortable for all who bear witness. This syndrome is sometimes hereditary, though typically develops in preteen years and lasts through adulthood. Not to be confused with an actual mental handicap.

"The strangest thing has been happening to me lately," said Shauna. "I'll be completely fine one moment, and when I enter a social situation, I suddenly can't act or speak in any way that is not completely uncomfortable and humiliating."

Awkwardness

-To be most uncomfortable in a situation. Most of us have experienced awkwardness when having to talk in front of a large group of people with the usual "so yea" and "so like".

-Another form of awkwardness would be when talking in person and being really really unsure and unusual about your actions and words. Not knowing what do except acting "awkward" ( See Awkward ) Unintentionally.

Curb Awkwardness

After saying farewell to someone and getting into vehicle and not moving immediatly , so the person just looks at you without talking. Even worse when the window is down.

Webcam Awkwardness

A mental disorder whereby a person finds it incredibly awkward to interact over webcam with people they know or are quite friendly with.

Generally, people who suffer from Webcam Awkwardness are perfectly okay with complete strangers talking to them over webcam, but do not like friends awkwardly staring at them on the computer screen.

Lizzie would spend all day on Omegle having 10-second conversations with randomers from all around the world, but due to her severe case of Webcam Awkwardness, she could not bring herself to have a conversation over webcam with Patrick.
