Abjection refers to something that is gross, dirty, or taboo.

Person 1: "Joe cheated on his girlfriend with her younger sister and won't stop bragging about it."

Person 2: "Geeze. Talk about an abjection on ice."

Asertion

(Adj)Often confused for Assertion, Asertion is a person whose life going by really fast, failing to grab onto anything, and succumbing to just letting it keep rolling. Making new friends just for them to leave, or having an opportunity arise then stripped away from them shortly after. When a person is Asertion, give them time, for they have been in unknown territory for awhile.

The girl wanted the boy to know that she was not leaving, but the boy was too Asertion to believe her.

And no, it isn't an instance of "Well, you don't care about other people so why do you expect them to care about you?" Because...

Hym "My INITIAL ASSERTION was the YOU only ACTUALLY GIVE A SHIT in a vague and abstract sense. That if you actually looked at the working class you claim to be for, you wouldn't like them very much at an individual level and would PROBABLY do something vaguely analogous to this. It's visible at a glance. Remember? The monologue from the Joker the I WROTE? That event 1... Or A. Event A is you (in abstraction or just the people around me in general) not giving a shit. Event B is the continuation of Event A. Event C is me not giving a shit. Event D is you saying 'If you don't give a shit why do you expect other people to?' Event E is you saying 'Well, if you don't give a shit then you don't get to suceed without me signing off on it.' That is the entire antecedent chain from the time I started writing until now. And I've already outlined the chain up until I've started writing. So, no. You're still dumb. I'm still smart."
