Short for African
American Vernacular Language. AAVE has been around for decades, centuries even…black people have created our own words that have circulated around our own communities. Some may
label AAVE as “slang” or “ghetto” but it’s simply the way we speak and pronounce words. When those who are not
black use AAVE, it’s very weird considering they are copying our every move.
