The theoretical fifth dimension, existing alongside length, width, height, and time, where every single possibility that didn't happen in our universe goes to live out its existence. It's a vast, invisible ghost-realm crowded with all the jobs you didn't apply for, the people you didn't marry, and the winning lottery numbers you didn't pick. Occasionally, when you get a sudden shiver or a feeling of déjà vu, you're just experiencing a brief dimensional tear, catching a glimpse of your life in the Probability Dimension where you made the other choice.
Dimension of Probability (5D) Example: "I saw my ex with her new boyfriend and felt a weird pang of regret. But then I remembered that in the 5th Dimension of Probability, there's a version of me who's still with her, and he's probably miserable. That thought made me feel much better."

5D Geometry

The study of shapes and spaces in five dimensions, where the fifth dimension is often considered probability or possibility space—the dimension where all possible outcomes branch from every moment. In 5D geometry, objects have five perpendicular axes, allowing for forms that contain not just every point in space and time but every point in every possible timeline. A 5D sphere (a 5-sphere) would appear in our 3D world as an infinite series of branching possibilities, each intersecting with our reality at points of decision. 5D geometry explains why you always pick the slowest line at the grocery store (you're just experiencing the branch where that happens) and why there's a version of you that's already finished shopping (they're in a different 5D coordinate).
Example: "She applied 5D geometry to her love life, realizing that in the fifth dimension (probability space), there were infinite versions of her dating infinite versions of her crush. In some branches, they were happy; in others, miserable; in others, they'd never met. Her 3D self was just one coordinate in an infinite possibility space. She found this either comforting or terrifying, depending on the branch."

5D Sciences

The study of phenomena across five dimensions: spacetime plus probability. In 5D sciences, every event exists not just at a specific spacetime coordinate but across a spectrum of probability branches. The 5D sciences investigate how objects and events are distributed across these branches, how they interact between branches, and why you always seem to end up in the branch where you forgot your keys. 5D sciences explain déjà vu (brief overlap with a probability branch where you've already experienced this), intuition (access to information from branches where you already know), and regret (awareness of branches where you made better choices). It's the science of "what if" made rigorous.
Example: "He used 5D sciences to analyze his career path. In one probability branch, he took the job and thrived. In another, he declined and found something better. In a third, he was hit by a bus and never worked again. His actual branch was the one where he took the job and was moderately content. 5D sciences explained why he kept wondering about the other branches—they were real, just inaccessible."

5D Physics

The study of physical laws across five dimensions: spacetime plus probability. In 5D physics, every event exists not just at a spacetime coordinate but across a spectrum of probability branches, and physical laws govern how objects and energy distribute across these branches. 5D physics explains quantum superposition (particles exist across multiple probability coordinates until observed), wavefunction collapse (observation selects a specific probability branch), and why your keys seem to teleport (they briefly shifted to an adjacent probability coordinate). It's the physics of "Schrödinger's cat is both alive and dead—in different branches," of parallel universes that are physically real, of the multiverse as a physical system rather than a philosophical speculation.
Example: "She applied 5D physics to her dating life. In one probability branch, she was happily married. In another, she was single and loving it. In a third, she was dating someone else entirely. Her actual branch was the one where she was on a mediocre third date, wondering about all the other branches. 5D physics explained her restlessness: she could feel the other branches calling."

5D Technologies

Devices and systems designed to operate across five dimensions: spacetime plus probability. 5D technologies allow users to perceive, navigate, and potentially select among probability branches. The "probability branch viewer" shows you what your life would be like if you'd made different choices—if you'd taken that job, married that person, bought that stock. The "branch stabilizer" helps you stay in your desired probability branch (useful when you're having a good day and don't want to slip into a branch where everything goes wrong). And the "regret eraser" lets you visit branches where you made better choices, which either cures regret or makes it worse, depending on how well you handle seeing happier versions of yourself.
5D Technologies *Example: "She used a 5D technology device to view the branch where she'd said yes to that date. In that branch, she was married with kids and living in the suburbs—her nightmare. In another branch where she'd said no, she was traveling the world, single and free. Her actual branch was somewhere in between. 5D tech hadn't answered her question, but it had shown her that every branch had trade-offs."*
