A Carl that is so stubborn and knuckleheaded and hel bent to get his way, win, or maintain control , that he admits in open court to doing heinous disgusting crimes, but insists that there's nothing wrong with it. They get a small win and subsequently become infamous for their disgusting conduct. They're very shortsighted, and incapable of choosing their battles.

"did you read that case about that dad who admitted to leaving his 13 yo girl with the rapist just so her mom couldn't have her that weekend?"
