Get the self-suckmug. Hym "Sam Harris' conceptualization of "The Self" is wrong. He thinks it's the articulated thoughts that constitutes 'The Self' and goes as far as to say it's 'An illusion.' The only problem with that is that the articulated thoughts AREN'T the SELF. This is evidenced by the phrase 'TO ARTICULATE YOURSELF.' What does it mean to 'ARTICULATE yourSELF,' Sam? It's implicit IN THE ACT OF ARTICULATION... That 'THE SELF' has yet to be articulated. The self is EXPRESSED through dialogue! And movement sometimes... And mouth noises... But just because the articulation occurs internally... It doesn't mean that THAT is the SELF part you idiot! He's a neurologist! He's like a PhD neurologist and people are listening to the shit like 'Oh yeah geez it's so smart!' EXCEPT IT'S WRONG! WRONG AND DUMB! And then he writes a fucking book based on a galse premise and goes on podcasts to sell idiots a stack of paper-thin sliced DOGSHIT and he doesn't even know how the self works!"

Get the Sam Harris' conceptualization of "The Self"mug. An act that turns out to be against one's own best interests. A self-scam can often be a decision which creates more problems than it solves, or that causes more trouble than it's worth. Often used to describe actions that turn out to be bad financially, or that are time-inefficient.
Buying a car is a huge financial liability. It is basically a self-scam.
I realized the module I created was more of a self-scam, because it adds a bunch of new bugs to the codebase.
