Someone with a love of things (art, literature, clothes, architecture, etc) that are old-school, traditional, vintage, or simply charmingly old-fashioned.

It can include a love for any past era... be it the Tudor age, the Victorian era, or the 1980s.

A portmanteau of retro and romanticist.

"So are you an old fogey, conservative, reactionary, or what?"
"I'm simply a retromanticist, m'lady."

While being a menace to society and possibly responsible for 72-81% of the current gene pool, a Mars in Retrograde is often considered kind hearted, to the point of underdeveloped and puppy like.
