The act of making each member of a group seperately think that they are your favorite member

My teacher told me I was her favorite student in her class. I later heard her telling another student the very same thing. I then realized she was commiting mass favoritism.

mass shooting apathy

The condition by which our horror over the reports of innocent lives taken, families destroyed, and not enough done to put an end to such gun based mass casualty violence, over time, leads to mere head nods of sadness given how commonplace they have become, and how in order for us to get through the day, we must block out what we felt over "Sandy Hook" or "Columbine," or "Parkland," multiplied by the number of times it has happened since.

It is sad how, while the one hand, I feel terrible over the most recent mass shooting, my mass shooting apathy has kicked as a survival mechanism, and made me feel less than I did when I first heard of the "Columbine" incident.

Mass Text

When someone is incredibly bored and sends the same text to many different people at the same time in the desperate hope of getting a response or when something important or at least important to the texter and it just MUST BE TOLD TO EVERYONE like merry christmas....or its my birthday.
When the text end with everybody or guys its probably the dreaded "mass text".

Lizzy: Holy crap!!! That hottie Bill just texted me!!
Erica: What did he say?
Lizzy: hey
Erica: I got the same one...its just a mass text. Don't answer that. He's just bored.

Kevin: Melanie just texted me and was like, "What's up?"... I thought she said she had plans and couldn't hang out tonight.

David: Yeah, I got that, too.

Lacey: WTF?! I'm so sick of her mass texting and leaving me out!

David: Guess we know why she didn't want to hang out tonight...
