Locs

"Locs" is a term commonly used to refer to a hairstyle known as "locks" or "dreadlocks." Locs are a natural hairstyle that involves the matting of hair into long, ropelike strands. The term "locs" is the proper term than of the offensive term "dreadlocks". Locs is linked to spirituality and it is worn by all cultures and race. Coined by Christina Clement, Spiritual leader, Author, and teacher of the Loc Community and Founder of State of Loc Nation.

LOC

Acronym. Stands for "Libertarian of Convenience"

A person who claims the Libertarian political label. But, only believes in personal freedom for themselves and maybe their family. No one else's personal freedoms is to be considered or honored. Particularly if the LOC's personal beliefs disagrees with it.

The LOC's posted no trespassing signs every 50 foot on their property line. But i regularly see them wandering all over mine. The LOC said they had no problems with anyone else's religious beliefs. But they wrote a letter to get yoga thrown out of the local community center.

Non-Geo-Loc

An abbreviation of None Geographical Location. Used by improvisers in rehearsal as shorthand for a location-based scene starter that is a specific place, NOT a broad answer like "China" or "San Francisco."

My last scene was set in a bowling alley, one of my favorite non-geo-locs.
