Il a était inventé par le forumeur LouReed sur le topic du forumeur PaicCitron intitulé "le bruit du hap ?" sur le forum "bla-bla 15-18" de jeuxvideo.com il se fera ensuite popularisé sur le même forum.

Avec le temps plusieurs expressions accompagné du onche seront utilisé notamment : onche onche tu veux du ponche , ou les fameuses "onche onche party" qui serviront surtout à spammer à l'aide de phrases tels que "onche onche à droite /:hap:/", "onche onche à gauche \:hap:\", "onche onche en haut \:hap:/", etc...
