Phone Grenade

VERB - When you’re actively texting with someone and trying to make plans and suddenly they stop responding - like after their last message they threw their phone as far from themselves as possible like a grenade they need to get rid of.

Robert, Chel and I were actively talking about when to play poker in our group text and when we tried to confirm the time - phone grenade! Everyone got quiet and it was all, “Bueller?”

The Temple of Gremace and the Hamburglar

A religion of worshiping the McDonald's characters Gremace (the big purple guy) and the Hamburglar (that gay thief guy). This religion involves you having to go to temple every day at 2am or you will be tracked down and killed. To join this religion you must cut your wrist over a bible letting the blood drip over it while you eat a hamburger from a preticipating McDonald's only $.99 and while you are there you should try monopoly at McDonald's where you have a 1 in 4 chance of winning, just saying.

Lets go to the temple of Gremace and the hamburglar and slit our wrists!

fall on the grenade

To make a sacrifice for the good of others. Originally a military term for when a junior officer would deliberately fall to cover a grenade - the explosion from which would kill a far greater number of his side if he didn't. In particular, it would be when a junior officer would make this sacrifice for a senior one - to protect the commanding officer for the benefit (supposedly) of the army.

Its meaning has been expanded to cover things like taking the blame for a team-fuckup (eg. at work) or humpin a dawg so (as said above) your mates can get into the pretty ones.

A conversational or behavioural device used to charm or fascinate. The device is most often used where a gentleman meets one or more ladies in a social situation and wants to impress.

Matt threw a particularly devastating charm grenade into the conversation last night. It took out half the ladies at the table.
