The act of talking over everyone head about stuff nobody cares about.

Mark: How many seconds are there in a year? If I tell you there are 3.155 x 10^7, you won't even try to remember it. On the other hand, who could forget that, to within half a percent, pi seconds is a nanocentury.
Somebody else: Huh? Who cares.

A stupid person - a fool - an idiot; someone who is "extra slow."

"Slowboat" is an extension of the word slow, (like toolbox is an extension of the word tool).

"Josh, you just tried to argue that the world is flat - quit being such a slowboat."

Slowboating

Slowboating is a science fictional verb/slang to a theoretical means of traveling between star systems known as Multi-Generational Space Voyaging. Moving slower than Light Speed. This can pertain to humans who essentially are living and dying per generation during a multi-light year voyage or individuals whom are frozen and waiting time of their arrival at their destination, which could take centuries if not longer.

With no Faster-Than-Light drive, I guess were slowboating it to next inhabited solar system.

Slowburbia

The ever expanding suburbs - nothing going on... just houses and strip malls... no sense of community, and the night life is gone soon after sundown. It's great to raise a family, but not to be a young adult looking for fun after hours.

I gotta get up to the city, there is nothing going on here in slowburbia.
