A Band of 9 Different people specializing in Different Edges of Music
Utilizing 2 DJs 2 Special Percussionists, 1 Bassist, 2 Guitarists, 1 Drummer, and 1 Lead Singer they form the 2nd most talked about concerts world wide. Although only releasing 4 albums total and splitting up after 8 years (still approx. 1 yr left) they will go down in history as legends and will be missed.
SlipKnoT is commonly defined as Thrash Metal, Hate Metal, or Death Metal. Although they are not gothic, they do not create songs by how they feel they create songs that sound good and will ultimately sound the best

Get the SlipKnoTmug. A band that gets more shit from diehard 80's metalheads then they deserve. Quite simply they kick fucking ass. They sing about emotions that everyone has and everyone feels but are to afraid to soil their "hardcore" image to say so.

PPL who say that they suck and bullshit like that try to prove that people=shit. If you say that slipknot are untalented, fat, angry, bitchass imposster then you really are a big peace of shit. I was in their live preformance, it was outrageous...

Get the slipknotmug. More proof, if needed, that Ross Robinson was born to manage boy bands, as opposed to something remotely alternative.
Just because they're nine blokes in masks and boiler suits doesn't mean they're better than four guys without, especially if you actually listen to their frankly dreadful lyrics (examples: "Fuck it all, fuck this world, fuck everything that you stand for" and "People = Shit" repeated six or seven times).
In other words, rather than use real emotion behind their music, they just hide behind a facade of fake anger where shouting "fuck" a lot apparently means something, especially in the exact same seethe/shout/roar song structure they use time and again. No wonder the main part of their fanbase is 14 years old...

(When trying to enter an over 18's rock club) "Is that a Slipknot t-shirt you're wearing? Right, show me your ID." The kid gets sent home soon after.
