The phenomenon of making up words for the sake of making up words, with the insinuation that it is in fact very easy for any person to make up a word. A smingledingus refers to the product of such arbitrary word inventions.

It was first introduced by the streamer LVNDMARK.

That word has no meaning, it is probably just a smingledingus.
