When a conversation is in action and one wants to contribute to the discussion, but is left stammering when another individual speaks before them.

Everyone does stoddering, it is a normal part of human conversation.

Robert: Why does that girl always eat bacon zebra cakes?
Wesley: I dunno, bu-
Colton: DID ANY OF YOU GUYS CHECK DAT KNEW SKYRIM GAMERPLAY?????!?!?!?!?!?!?!!?

stodge

The dough cleaned out of the bowl at a bakery or bread-shop at the end of the day, then carefully wrapped and put in the dumpster where some economical person might retrieve it. Keeps for ages, is tasty, with sultanas, cheese, ham sometimes.

I don't have to buy stuff, I just get stodge every now and then.
