Articles of Confederation

The "Prototype" United States Constitution. They were made because America wanted to be the polar opposite of England. They soon realized that was a horrible idea.
The Articles of Confederation made the federal government so neutered and inconsequential that they may as well not have existed. They could not tax, enforce laws (there was no president until 1789), or really do much of anything. The "United States" was more like "The Thirteen Very, Very Divided Independent Countries." England passed the popcorn as America floundered like a fish out of water, before an event known as "Shays' Rebellion" gave everyone a massive reality check.

World Confederalism

World Confederalism or Global Confederalism is a political concept about the creation of a worldwide confederation with the goal to slove all major world problems and slove the major problems of all countries as possible, world confederalism also believes on the cooperation of the countries and equal status to all countries at global level. World confederalism differs from world federalism on the sense that world federalism supports just in the creation of democratic institutions at global level, centralized or not, while world confederalism supports the creation of a world confederation with the goal to help all countries as the world itself.
"World Confederalism is considered as the left-wing libertarian version of world federalism, both concepts might be really useful for the future of Earth and of the planet itself. But world confederalism would be really good in case the world become left-wing libertarian or even anarchist as well."
