Swampification

Swampification is a linguistic skill sometimes used while communicating with a certain segment of a population. Basically telling people what they want to hear because they're too fragile to just accept things and need to be spoon fed obvious ideas in a way that they can agree.

Early research shows that swampification - or swampifying - is more effective* as relating ideas to these folk because it allows an actual honest-to-God new thought to be absorbed by the listener without them feeling the shame of having to learn something new... which of course to them translates as having to admit they might be wrong, or don't already know everything.

Results have consistently pointed that this flimsy tough-guy/macho-man facade acts a sort-of childhood security blanket and provides them a sense of comfort, not unlike someone wearing a really bad hair piece, and as such the best course of action is to basically ignore the obvious flaws if you want to get through to them. Calling them out on it will only anger them. Set low expectations, expect little to no progress.

*As of the present date, no known methods of effective communication with, or within, this segment of the population has been identified.

Swamp sheep

Swamp sheep: a person who loves the goverment swamp as it is and trusts that the goverment has the best intrest of then in mind. Particularly a Democrat, a victim type mentality. They likely work for the goverment in some form and have loyalty to the swamp continuing to provide for them. A sort of blind loyalty, very naive to the world and how it works. Swamp sheep would rather live in a cage in a corrupt goverment claim blm and defund the police yet would be the first cowards to call the cops when someone breaks a rule like not wearing a mask during covid 19.
