The act of causing mental discomfort or shame toward a person who is out interacting with the public by shopping for needless or trivial things when they should be sheltered at home helping to curb the spread of a global pandemic.

I think it's time to do some shopshaming of that selfish, clueless bitch!

One who is generally female, who is constantly on the prowl for anything with a price tag, is known to stay up for days placing bids on ebay, reading online ratings and reviews and neglects personal hygiene. It is not uncommon for a "shopbender" to neglect sleep for several days while binge shopping.

Son: Hey dad! Whats wrong with mom? She hasn't left her room for days!

Dad: Oh, son....she'll be allright! Shes just on another Shopbender! At least you'll be getting a surprise gift in the mail soon!
