Flashlights

Used by Warhammer 40,000 players to refer to Imperial Guardsmens' lasguns, due to their weak strength in the game. Also sometimes called hot flashlights.

Guard player: "My squad shoots your marines."
Marine player: "Ooh, flashlights, scary."

Guard player: "...and my Stormtroopers have hellguns..."
Other player: "ooh, scary, hot flashlights."

deroogatory term for people--usually girls--who combine scene/emo styles and culture with popular styles in an attempt to look ARTSY and ORIGINAL (often looks like they copied whatever is on Taget's ad posters or ads from Seventeen stitch for stich)

fashioncore: scene girl w/septum ring wearing mukluks, uggs, tight sweaters, hideous and expensive boots, a little eco friendly book bag (loves to talk in a husky voice about ART and ORIGINALITY and how much REALITY SUCKS)
Also: a scene kid wearing in-style/preppy clothes or whatever the fashion models in teen magazines are wearing

flashole

One who flashes their brights at other cars for no reason.
Note- there are many reasons for flashing one's brights. One of the most common reasons for flashing your brights at an oncoming car (often done twice in quick succession) is to warn the driver of a police car (popo)nearby so that the driver does not get caught speeding.

"Turns out that dude wasn't a flashole; there's a speed trap up here."
