The Pooley Effect

The Pooley Effect is constantly in play throughout everyone's whole life. It is the matter of when an individual does something extra ordinary and then the next thing they do, no matter how simple or complicated they will always fail

Note: We have been doing some research on The Pooley Effect and we have found some exemptions that The Pooley Effect can not "Effect". This content will be updated as new discoveries are found:
1) 12th Sep 2018; The Pooley Effect is not in-play in the handball squares

The Curtis Effect

The Curtis Effect is the action in which a person has something done to them, but this person takes either way to long to realise what's happened (a major delayed reaction) or to over emphasise the action done to them, for example someone getting punched and the person that gets hit would fly across the room. This effect tends to take place to people with 100 subscriber YouTube channels and above (this isn't yet known why).

*Person 1 hits Person 2*
(Person 3) "Why did he go so far"
(Person 4) "Must be the Curtis Effect again"

Urinal Effect

When a group of people are faced with a row of seats or something similar, those people will tend to sit in every other seat so as not to be creepy to the other people

Comes from the unspoken etiquette of men’s bathrooms that states that they can never use a urinal next to one that another man is using.

“I can’t sit down in any of these seats or I’ll be creepy! I’ve fallen victim to the Urinal Effect!”

To give a character in an adaptation achievements that other characters were responsible for in the source material or that outright didn’t happen in an effort to boost the character

e.g. Legolas in lord of the rings, hermione in Harry Potter

hermiones wolf howl in the third film was so stupid, she doesn’t do it in the book, total Legolas effect

Chevelle Effect

I always thought the alt-metal/post-grunge band from Grayslake, Illinois was just generic and mediocre. Then I was invited by a friend to a free show of there's. Completely changed my mind on them!!!! I know love Chevelle and totally get it, so whenever I go see a show and a song or band has that same effect, it's known to me as the "Chevelle Effect".

Rob: You see that new Silverstein song live last week?

Craig: DUDE! YES! That gave me total “Chevelle Effect”!!!
