e-shame

To openly embarrass someone who forwards a hoax or otherwise lame email to a large group of recipients. Done by replying-all and pointing out the stupidity of it, usually with a link to a debunking article.

"My noob brother sent me the Microsoft email-tracking hoax. I had to e-shame him and sent the Snopes link to everybody on his list."

The annoying noise emitted from a computer or other communication device during an online chat session such as facebook, msn or skype when the subject recieves a new message.
also know as an electronic fart, or an E-fart

john: dude, your computer keeps E-farting.
joe: yea im chatting with brad on facebook, he wont leave me alone.

john: something in your room is emitting large quantities of E-flatulence.
joe: yea sorry, its katy. i just broke up with her and she wont leave me alone.

The art of thinking about what to post online for 2-3 days with the appearance of coming off as being witty, when you are actually a douche that can't come up with something smart on the fly.

similar to buyer's remorse, the immediate sinking feeling felt after placing a bid for an item on ebay you realize you don't really want. usually followed by prayer for someone to outbid you before the auction ends.

Jim's e-morse was overwhelming after he bid $45 for the potato chip that looked like Richard Nixon.

When you're acting aloof online, not responding to emails, initiating IM chats, replying to evites, etc. The opposite of acting e-ffusive.

Guy_98: wtf? you super busy today or what?

Girl_01: no. why? what's with the 'tude?

Guy_98: you haven't replied to my evite or said hi on gchat. you're acting e-loof.
