The digital equivalent of "tipping" on YouTube, where subscribing is meant as a form of support for channels. However, the YouTube algorithm interprets this as a signal that you have more time to watch videos. Subscribing to more channels doesn't magically ease your parents' screen time limits — it's akin to tipping whilst dining at a restaurant, indicating that the service deserves a higher wage, not that your stomach can hold more food.

I subscribed to ten new channels to show my support, but my parents still treat it like I've signed up for a marathon of screen time—it's just a digital equivalent of "tipping", not a signal that I want to binge-watch YouTube!

A pretty unconventional "threat" used by YouTubers, usually involves harm, bad luck, or even death threats, But in reality it's just a joke and the creator have no intent of doing this. Sometimes it involves "no harm" like "subscribe or i will cry"

A person who subscribes to YouTube channels, showing support for the content creator. While subscribing is often seen as a way to encourage channels, it doesn't magically ease the duration of screen time your parents allow you to have.
