self-injury

The act of deliberately inflicting harm on ones own body without suicidal intent or plans of bodily modification (eg. piercing your ears isn't self-injury). Typically self-injury is practiced to block mental pain with physical pain, or to provide the self-injurer with something that they can feel if they are emotionally numb. Common forms of self-injury include cutting with a sharp object such as a razor or a knife, burning (with an open flame, chemicals, a heated object (technically, this is branding, not burning), or friction from rubbing with an object such as a pencil erasor), scratching or scraping, and hitting (whether with ones own hands or another object).

Although it is sometimes misinterpreted as a suicide attempt, self-injury is actually a coping mechanism used to deal with powerful negative feelings and prevent suicide.

Self-Important Sniff

A quick and audible nasal inhalation made after making a declarative statement about a topic that one's audience supposedly knows little and/or the sniffer considers himself/herself somewhat of an expert. The self-important sniff serves as punctuation to a statement that is typically unquestionable as the sniffer may attempt to pass opinion off as fact. It is typically used by hipsters, although it is also used mockingly, and to some comedic effect, on the Adam Carolla Podcast, as well as The Film Vault (podcast) by hosts Bald Bryan and Dick Anderson.

Is a tactical countermeasure that involves defending oneself by shitting your self. it is a legal justification for the use of feces in times of danger.

A Selfdude is someone that has been repeatedly rejected by the world, and yet continues to kick ass. Often used in the 1st person perspective.
Also, can be used as an expletive.

Roberto- Did you hear back from Harvard?

Mike- Yeah.... I didn't get in.

Roberto- That sucks, man.

Mike- I thought I was selected... Selfdude rejected!

Abbreviated as "SEF"

The friend(s) of a highly attractive girl who's sole purpose is to make the attractive girl feel better about themselves and look perpetually times more attractive to guys.
Also, the SEF serves a double purpose as a cockblocker
