brew pub

A pub that serves brews (typically ales and lagers) made in-house. Not to be confused with a microbrewery, which brews and distributes, but does not neccessarily serve in-house.

Local brews made in-house and only served in-house are from a brew pub.
New Belgium Brewery is a microbrewery that distributes brews nationally.

Pub Garden

The rear facing version of a Gunt. It is predominately found in females, and occurs when the arse is so large it begins to encapsulate the hamstring, thus creating a roomy, friendly place to stop and take a break.

pub ammo

Useless information (i.e. 0-60 times of cars, heights of the tallest buildings) that you can throw out in a pub/bar/whatever to impress your friends.
It also may include feats of strength that you've done, dares that you didn't chicken out of and exploits with the ladies that you aren't embarrassed to share.

pub logic

A warped method of reasoning and debate technique encountered primarily in the pub, whereby common sense and prior knowledge are overused at the expense of actual evidence and synopticity, caused mainly by alcohol intoxication. Resultant ideas, theories and conclusions range from the ridiculous to the surprisingly ingenious.

Tom: "Why is the music playing from the jukebox so crap?"
Dick: "I reckon they deliberately play crap songs, in order to make you pay to put on decent songs. Makes sense, right?"
Harry: "That's a dodgy bit of pub logic!"
