Metropolitan Avenue is a major avenue located in Queens NY. It starts off at Jamaica Avenue by the Van Wyck Expressway in Richmond Hill and goes all the way to Williamsburg in Brooklyn from there. Metropolitan Avenue is known to be a major truck route in Queens and is also a major commercial strip for most of the neighborhoods it cuts through, which includes Kew Gardens, Forest Hills, Middle Village, Maspeth, Ridgewood, and Williamsburg. Highly efficient car. Easy on the pocket for those would rather not be bent over by the oil companies. One of the few cars that actually does what it was claimed to do. Speaking as someone who has drivin and had one. Definitely not for the impatient or someone who enjoys getting tickets and high insurance rates.

Wow look. That V8 just blew away a geo metro. Talk about a fragile ego. When he gets home he will probably push his grandma in the wheelchair down the stairs.

Metro Fail

Metro fail is derived from a company which runs the public train network in Melbourne. Due to the fact they are constantly late, delayed, trains canceled. And when they do come they are over packed.

So metro got the nick name fail. Then after that, the term 'Metro Fail' arose which has taken a similar meaning to 'Epic Fail' (or to fail really badly) The word is commonly used on instant messaging and social networking websites.
