crisis christian

A follower of the Christian Faith or a Christian-related faith who only attends church in a time of crisis. This is moderately similar to a Holiday Christian though the attendance of a Holiday Christian is more predictable. Crisis Christians may attend church for consecutive weeks (or even days) in their time of need and not give it a second thought once their prayers have been answered.

Person 1: "My husband lost is job. We went to church every week and prayed for a miracle. Now he has a fantastic job and we don't need to go to church anymore!"
Person 2: Well you're quite the Crisis Christian, aren't you?

Becoming insensitive to the gravity of a crisis, because there are just too many of them.

Person A: "We are in the middle of an economic crisis, and now Wikileaks made me realise we're also in a freedom of information crisis!"
Person B: "I can't really bother, I'm suffering from Crisis Overkill"

When all of a sudden you get horny in an area where you cannot satisfy yourself so you get very self conscious or frustrated.

Ron: I had a horny crisis the other day at the mall.
Rick: Ah man that sucks!
Ron: Yeah, good thing I was close to leaving.

Liquidity Crisis

When you are broke, and have no money until next pay but don't want to say you are broke. Especially useful if you still have assets with some monetary value, but very much don't want to sell them.

Sorry dudes, can't go to Montreal this weekend, I am having a short-term liquidity crisis, and I've only got $1.17 left in my chequing account.

The government is in a state of limbotic-crisis on whether to put the country into full lockdown or to allow people to go out, causing the virus to spread.

A situation in which a population is severely lacking in smooths, or cigarettes, that generally causes widespread panic and emotional discourse.

example 1

person 1- "Bro, I need a smooth man, help me out jew"
person 2- "I don't have any, it's a smooth crisis."
person 1- "You've gotta be kidding me..."

example 2

person 1- "I...need...smooth..."
person 2- "shutup man you know it's a smooth crisis"
