clickbaitmare

A digital nightmare where you type something completely innocent into a search engine — like “sand pussy” (you meant the desert cat, Felis margarita) or “vaginal health” (you meant actual health) — and instead get a wall of Pornhub results or links for other porn sites, questionable thumbnails, or sketchy ads for products you never wanted. It’s like you opened a door expecting a science museum, and walked straight into an 18+ pop-up dungeon.

Breakdown:
* Clickbait = misleading, provocative content
* Nightmare = the emotional trauma of seeing it when all you wanted was cat facts or vulval hygiene tips → Clickbaitmare: The moment the internet betrays your wholesome intent
🤯 Situations:
1. You’re just a humble animal lover.
You type “sand pussy” thinking you’ll find photos of adorable sand cats — tiny wild felines that live in the desert.
Instead, you get an instant porn preview carousel and Google’s entire understanding of “pussy” collapses into one grimy rabbit hole.
You’ve entered a clickbaitmare.

2. You’re Googling actual health advice.
You type “vagina health” to look up natural remedies, articles from Mayo Clinic, or proper care routines.
But Google decides you probably meant:
* NSFW “guides”
* Huge Fat Vagina porn videos. Fat porky Kali West flashes her huge boobs and rubs her pussy
* And at least one link to a site that says free premium porn but it’s a scam.

You weren’t looking for a gynecologist with OnlyFans. You just wanted to know if coconut oil was okay. Welcome back to your clickbaitmare.

“I just wanted to show my niece what a sand cat (Felis margarita) looks like, but Google gave me cursed hentai pussy trauma instead. Classic clickbaitmare.”

“Typed in ‘vagina health’ and ended up with lots and lots of pornhub results, that was a full-on clickbaitmare.”

Clickbait

Also called engagement bait sometimes, Clickbait is when something (typically on Youtube thumbnail) says its something (like a product), while being something else entirely, just so it gets your click.

Clickbait usually came in the form of an extreme thumbnail and title (like a youtuber's death, which was far more common than you might think), and the actual video would be on something completely different, or would actually be what it stated it was, but the thing that made you click on the video is not actually present.

Most clickbait videos would be countdowns, and would want you stick around for Number 1, which would make kids (which was mainly the target audience) to click and watch until that point, just for Number 1 to not be what the thumbnail said it was.
A few years ago, many people were making videos to Clickbait for easy views.

Verbal Clickbait

A phrase or verbal cue intended to solicit attention or further inquiry from an uninvolved third party.
James looked down at his phone and said "wow, that's so cool", hoping that others around him would rush to his side begging for details.

He always uses verbal clickbait to try to start conversations.

religious clickbait

a type of video were it has the one who made this video say "(insert religious idol) wants you to see this" or "scroll if you hate (this religious idol the audience believes in)" to make the audience believe that the person who created this video is talking about how the audience from any religion can be saved according to the religion the audience believes in but in reality the people who make these videos are in it for the money and don't want to spread their religious views which then that video then gets remixed so that either the original owner of those types of videos or the person who remixed that video gets more views/likes/subscribers and mostly do it for attention and clout.
video: scroll if you hate (religious figure the audience believes in) person 1: ok I'm a (insert religion related to that video) and i know for a fact that this is religious clickbait

'autistic' clickbait

A phrase made by Sawtooth18 on Scratch, someone who makes these types of projects is obviously autistic, and/or it can grab an autistic person's attention.
'autistic' clickbait projects are usually grounding/ungrounding, alphabet/number-related projects, and other cartoony, colorful characters.
Example: search up "Klasky Csupo gets grounded" and you'll see those vids, also there are 2 or more characters, 1 thumbs up and the other thumbs down.
It’s just that the chance of them being neurodiverse is very high.
(No offense to autistic people, I'm autistic myself)
Lil' austin wanted to watch the Ipad, so mom gave him the Ipad. As he was watching, older bro, Narchy, saw him watching sound effects g major stuff and 'autistic' clickbait.(Since Lil' Austin was autistic himself) He had no idea who came up w/ these

Clockbaiting

Setting up an arbitrary time, that is nice in some way (i.e. 7:07, 10:00) at which you are going to stop procrastinating,. Then missing it and resetting it again until you give up on everything you had to do.
"I've been clockbaiting myself for half an evening and did absolutely nothing!"
"Then I've thought about delaying everything I had to do until 7:00 PM, but decided not to fall for this clockbaiting once again"
