A phrase used, largely by those that consider themselves "trendy" or cool", to describe something they find worthy of admiration. Can be used to describe facebook profile pictures and/or magnificent paintings. Not used to describe Jesus, or John McCain.

1. Replacement of "That's what she said," although, it is funnier because people usually do not make this connection themselves; A subtle way to call the other person a homosexual.

that's dirrtay!

Comes from the word dirty it emphasizes the word to add more personality and feeling, making it a creative phrase. By saying "that's dirrtay" you're not necessarily saying that's actually nasty or gross, but you could be saying that's "hot" or that's "cool" the phrase could also be used after hearing some good gossip... there are different ways to use this phrase, but be sure to make the meaning you use clear.

"I just made out with a guy."

"That's dirrtay!"
