Vestigial brain

Used to describe someone who has lost the ability to think or seemingly without a working brain. Could also describe herd thinking (another word to add) or cult members who no longer think for themselves.

Homer doesn't think anymore... no, he has a vestigial brain.

Brain-thaw

The lingering headache that occurs when one is outside in freezing cold temperatures for an extended period and then returns indoors where it is much warmer. Much like a reverse brain-freeze, it is usually felt along the temples of the head.

After shoveling outside for a few hours I had such brutal brain-thaw when I got back in the house.

pretzel brain

When you see something and it awakens a random neuron holding long dormant and often only tangentially related memory/reference.

The pretzel being the random ass path the thoughts have to travel to arrive at the thing you remembered

Brain Problem

A phase for police in Hong Kong to use. Police use this phase to reply foreigner if foreigner asks police question with english or other non-chinese language. Using this phase allows police to get away from the conversation.

Hong Kong police ; 'Hey! You there! Who are you?'
Foreign Press : 'My name is Brian, wht's the problem?'
Hong Kong police : 'Brain Problem?'

Foreign Press : '???'
Hong Kong police : '???'

brain guy

From the television show, Mystery Science Theater 3000. Also called "Observer", the Brain guy is pale, wears a purple cloak over white robes and carries his brain in a petri dish. While possessing both Omnipotence and Omniscience, brain guy is rather lackadaisical in the goal of taking over the world, more content with observing. Despite claiming to not possess a body, Brain Guy does partake in activities like eating chili dogs and drinking beer.
