senior circuit

Nickname commonly used to describe the National League, one of two major divisions of Major League Baseball, as opposed to the American League, which can be referred to as the "junior circuit." (This is because the National league is much older- it was founded in 1876 while the American League wasn't founded until 1901.) It consists of sixteen teams: in the West division Los Angeles, (one of two franchises in the city) San Francisco, Arizona, Colorado, and San Diego; in the Central division St. Louis, Chicago, (one of two franchises in the city) Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, Houston, and Milwaukee; and in the East division Philadelphia, Florida, New York, (one of two franchises in the city) Atlanta and Washington. The nicknames for these teams are respectively the Dodgers, Giants, Diamondbacks, Rockies, Padres, Cardinals, Cubs, Reds, Pirates, Astros, Brewers, Phillies, Marlins, Mets, Braves, and Nationals. Notable players include San Francisco's Tim Lincecum, St. Louis' Albert Pujols, and Milwaukee's Prince Fielder.

In this year's All Star game in St. Louis, the senior circuit fell to the junior circuit 4 to 3.

Senioritis is a disease that affects all high school seniors. For most people it starts in the second semester of the senior year. Symptoms for the disease include: Unsafe sex, many beer bongs, getting arrested, showing up to school extremely high, drawing a five foot penis on the chalkboard, and telling you teacher she looks like an old crack whore. The only way to get over this disease is to walk the stage at graduation, or punch your principal in the cock.

A disease that usually hits high school seniors after they have been accepted to college, or their mid-year grades have been sent out. Symptoms include not caring about one's studies or grades, complete and total lazyness, and skipping classes. Senioritis is usually cured upon graduation from high school. Once this occurs, the student realizes that he/she must do a lot more work in college.

Teacher: Ok guys, 13 of you didn't do your homework. Don't let Senioritis set in!
Student: Who cares, we've been accepted to college and we're graduating in two months!
Teacher: Well, colleges can take away your acceptance.
Student: No they cant.

senior capstone

An impossible project created by Richland Collegiate High School to inflict pain and unnecessary torture upon the seniors of the program.

A paper composed of roughly 15 pages of BS in MLA or APA format that is usually finished seconds before the due date. The project also includes a working model/representation of whatever the BS paper was suppose to explain.

Senior skip day

A day chosen by a senior class to skip school. This most frequently happens at the beginning/end of a school week or the day before or after a school day in which there are no classes (a state holiday for example).

Jill: Hey Jack, we have a State holiday Monday and we (seniors) have no school Wednesday because the underclassmen and Juniors are taking some standardized tests.

Jack: Well, Jill, I guess its only right to have a Senior skip day on Tuesady.
