2. The ensuing sense of paranoia, panic and loneliness when PEDs are disconnected for any reason or any length of time from a viable network.

3. The overwhelming depression experienced when one of any number of PEDs is lost, stolen, broken, destroyed or discarded.

The new electronic generation often experiences chronic devicestation.
