However, Trump Derangement Syndrome applies to the other end of the political spectrum, as well. Sufferers of Type 2 TDS will often act sycophantic towards Donald J Trump, and defend him vehemently in online forums, or consistently insult those who do not share the same god-like view of Donald J Trump.
