A term originating from "popular" music. Encompasses an enormous catergory of music. Seems ironic, however, since this form of music is far less "popular" than say, rock or rap.

A: You listen to pop? Conformist!

A dance style that hails from California from which the originators are many, which is not to be confused with or to be related to boog aka boogaloo who's originator was Boogaloo Sam aka Sam Solomon, boogaloo is not popping as a whole. There are many different styles of popping that have many different originators most of which resided in Cali when the popping movement first took off in the U.S. making it also harder to distinguish when popping actually started to become popping.

Those cats back in the day sure knew how to get down popping and locking the way they do.

the shittiest type of music, that requires the least talent. shitty lyrics about stupid relationships, that most of the time arent even written by the "artist". pop singers usually lipsink while doing weird ass fucking movements that they like to call dance moves. the songs sound very gay, and are so awful that when i hear them my ears bleed, and i begin to have thoughts of commiting suicide. usually only the lead singer is accredited for being a musical genius, when they are not even playing the instruments, or writing the songs. pop music is a disgrace to humanity.
