A hacking cough. Derivation thought to stem from the abnormaly high level of smog in the small town with equally poor football team of the same name.

My grandad smoked 80 a day and worked in an Asbestos factory, he develped quite a Middlesbrough accent in later years, i can tell you.

Middles are the tests that take place at the end of the first semester of the school year. Since they aren't finals, they are middles, because they take place in the middle of the year.

Middletown highschool

Located in middletown, delaware. where all the poor low-class people go who are too lazy or poor to go to a catholic/ private school. mostly black people go there. there AP courses are equivalent Padua's lowest courses. Middletown girls don't have any style at all and are stuck in 2005. Middletown students are salty because they got sent there instead of Appo.

Middletucky

Middletucky is the nickname given to Middletown, Ohio. It is a small to medium sized city containing about 50,000 people located in Southwestern Ohio about halfway in between Cincinnati and Dayton. It gets its nickname from its poor reputation. The city is known for high levels of drug usage, property crime, and poverty. It is advisable to avoid going out too late to avoid being robbed or beaten in a dark alley.

I passed through Middletucky the other day while I was headed home so I made sure my doors were locked and didn’t stop for gas until I reached the next town over.

Middlesbrough

A town in North-East England, and one of the most chav ridden places I have ever been to, Windows and Doors broken all over the show, a proper shit tip, Their accent is atrocious, it is what I class as, as "Fake-Geordie".
Also, A really shit small-time football club, who were saved from going into administration in the 80's and were that happy, they put the year on their badge.

Lad 1: "Arrrrgh, Lad, Lets go and bust some windows in our lacoste trackies and burberry caps."
Lad 2: "Oh, we don't need to, the streets of Middlesbrough are already shite enough"
