Chain-Thinking

To conjure the thought of one thing that reminds you of another. Which creates an ongoing process either to eventually return to the thought at hand or move onto something completely different.

Thinking that your thirsty, leading to what you want, to what brand, to what brand you like better, leading to another brand of something completely different such as clothes, than what brand you like, leading to you want to shop, than thinking of money that you dont have, leading to you need a job, etc etc

when i wanted to shop, chain-thinking went into effect and i forgot i had no money and needed a job.

chain cheating

When one person copies another person's homework, but that person copied from another person. This is very common in a high school environment.

Joe:"Hey Bobby, can I copy your physics homework?"

Bobby:"Sure thing, Joe."

Joe:"Where did you get all of these answers, Bobby?"

Bobby:"Oh, Bill gave them to me."

Joe:"So this is chain cheating..."

Chain Letter

A letter sent either via email or postal mail that usually involves send a certain amount of copies of the letter to people by a cetain date to avoid a bad event.

The chain letter said to make 20 copies and send them to 20 people, and I would have good luck!

Chain Dater

Just like a Chain Smoker, someone who lights up one cigarette straight after the other. In this case someone who dates one person after the other. These relation-ships rarely last longer than a month. Normally Chain Daters hang around together and Chain Date each other- a common occurrence in high schools.

John has had 3 girlfriends in the past month, who also dated John's friends, they're such Chain Daters.

Chain Letter

Either seen as a death threat, list, or something random to scare or "reward" people, a chain letter is something that many idiots believe in. It is an epidemic on Youtube and Myspace. Usually, middle schoolers and people without friends forward these, but these letters are annoying as hell generally. If it's not a death threat, it says that it will tell you that if you forward it, that you'll have yourself a boyfriend/girlfriend on Friday.

Person 1: Hey! I just reposted this chain letter on Myspace saying that she'll finaly be mine on Friday!
Person 2: Shut up! Myspace isn't going to decide that for you. Grow some balls now.
