Alex: I wish more allocishets - as well as queer folks - were ready to accept that their knowledge of gender and sexuality might not be correct or complete. Everybody accepts advances in medical science and everyone knows previous generations had to learn that the Earth isn't flat, that illness isn't caused by spirits, that mental illness needs treatment not suppression, that doctors should wash hands, etc but when it comes to queer realities, people forget science exists.
