Designated Thinker

One who refrains from drinking, smoking, and etc. in order to act as the brains of the situation.

Some may consider this person as "the lame one", when he/she (the designated thinker) really just want to be responsible and lookout for the well-being of others.
1. Drunk friend: "I am soooooo gonna go home with that sexy guy over at the bar."

Desginated Thinker: For goodness sake, he could be a serial killer and you're thinking about going home with him? Sit your ass down, you're not going anywhere.

2. Random drunk guy: Why isn't that guy over there drinking and having fun?

Random drunk woman: He's just being the designated thinker, making sure no one gets their ass into trouble.

Thanks Dad

When somebody either gives you information or advice you don't care for, or you are somehow wronged due to peculiar circumstances, you say "Thanks Dad".
When someone says: "You shouldn't put granola bars in the toaster" and removes them, you say "Thanks Dad"

A stray frisbee from a nearby game strikes you. You state "Thanks Dad" to nobody in particular.

Thinks

The act of believing you are something special or that you will get away with something petty just to help your pathetic ego.
Look at your gay ass, barb wire around the arm tattoo. You think!

conscious night thinking

v.
The act of daydreaming while you're trying to get to sleep. Occurs frequently on Sundays, or before big events or occasions.

Similar to brainspin. Conscious night thinking also seems like lucid dreaming if you're fantasizing, but lucid dreaming feels like it's actually happening. When you're thinking about the future, it could also be considered vinny-vu
I was up all night conscious night thinking. First about the test tomorrow, then about if I ate too much cake, then about what I would say to my teacher if she found out I cheated on that assignment... my brain just wouldn't stop thinking!

OR

I was conscious night thinking about eating pastries in Paris last night. I didn't get any sleep.

free thinker

Years of misuse has reduced the term to a self-branded label for pretentious adolescents who have only just realized that the universe isn't what their parents/guardians lead them to believe like most rational individuals who reach this epiphany at the age of 6 but for lack of better word and/or urge to sound like pretentious adolescents who have only just realized that the universe isn't what their parents/guardians lead them to believe is used to describe anything from the classical definition of open-mindedness to being-like-the-rest-of-us-who-are-different-to-you.
a: "What religion are you?"
b: "I'm a free thinker"
a: "What?"
b: "I'm not really sure whether god exists"
a: "So you're agnostic?"
b: "No, I'm a free thinker"
a: "That's a little vague; you could be a free thinking atheist or free thinking agnostic but saying free thinker doesn't tell anyone what you believe in"
b: "But I'm a free thinker"
a: "Do you even know what that means?"
b: "My friends are free thinkers"
