plain old fashioned bullshit

Lying, cheating, stealing, bluffing, etc, in an obvious yet difficult to defeat manner. Usually everyone is aware of this type of bullshit when it occurs, but cannot stop it due to the fact that people using it usually are in a position of power, ie managers, marketing reps, etc.

This is opposed to the new type of bullshit which is much more common these days, in which one tries to be as low key and stealthy as possible.

John, your reason for hiring your brother was some plain old fashioned bullshit and you know it.

plain white t's

A Chicago born band, led by lead vocalist Tom Higgenson. They have two cds, Stop and All That We Needed. If youre a real hardcore fan, you will also have their first, not well known cd (making three all together) titled Come On Over. Its hard to find, but the freaks should have it. Higgenson is backed up by Dave Tirio - Guitar, Mike Retondo - Bass & Vocals, De'Mar Hamilton - Drums, Tim Lopez - Guitar and Vocals. The boys are finally making their way through the scene getting some air time on Fuse, and before you know it these boys next door will be your new favorite band. The T's are also the best alternative/indie/whatever you wish to call it band.. ever.

Have you heard of the Plain White T's song 'Penny'? Its one of their best!

Plainview

Obviously your upper class education isn't working. Learn some grammar.
Sure, you can say its a "getaway" with some pretty nice cars rollin down the streets, but its also a lot of old people in their beat up Buicks with their hood smashed up from crashing into Gold & Meyers Deli. You also get the occasional person in their powerchair taking up a lane of Old Country Road.

There really isn't a ghetto at all. The ghetto with houses that have only 1 floor and a basement is a lot better than what some other people have. The homes cost a lot, and the taxes are ridiculous.

People here tend to be obnoxious, rude, and just annoying in general. You hold the door for someone, you get ignored. You let the door close on someone, and you hear "asshole" as you walk away. You can't win here. Oh, but our tap water tastes pretty damn good.

There are a LOT of jews here, hence the name Plainjew. JAP central, yeah, all that good stuff. One good thing about that is that we have some awesome delis.
