A bowl of Halloween candy, left unguarded in front of a house, because the family is too lazy to give it out. Usually accompanied by a sign saying "please take only one," etc. Highly ineffective.

When you sit on a public restroom toilet without checking the seat first (mostly pertains to males).
Dude, I totally just pulled a trust sit at the Shell station. I think I should've checked the seat first.

I was able to push myself extra hard lifting weights today thank to the squat trust I have with my partner.

When your spouse/friend/business associate says they did (or didn't) do it. Accept their word with full faith that they are being honest. Then go through their cell messages to confirm they are true angels.
Origin: Russian proverb, "doveryai no proveryai" (trust, but verify)

So he comes home late from work and doesn't feel hungry.
...So what did you say?
What could I do? Said, "Okay Honey" then checked his messages after he went to sleep.
...Do you think?
Naw, I mean, naw. Trust, but verify ensures a happy relationship.

An amazingly talented, disgustingly unnoticed grunge band from Alabama. No, they are not a bunch of fucking hicks. They released 2 albums: the lonely position of neutral in July 2002 and true parallels in March 2005. They released 3 singles: "downfall" and "running from me" from the lonely position of neutral, and "stronger" from true parallels. the song "downfall" was used for the WWE's vengeance in 2002, "falling apart" for royal rumble 2003, and "stronger" for backlash 2005. Members were Kevin Palmer (lead vocals, guitars) Josh Moates (bass) James Fukai (guitars) Walker Warren (bass) and Jason singleton (drums). The band split up in August 2005, but Palmer and Moates have recently formed another band called Amity lane.
Trust Company is great.
