Universal Reconciliation

The Christian belief that God's love is in escapaple and all will eventually be reconciled to him. Some universalists believe that there is no hell but others believe that if there is a hell it is not everlasting. Most of the early Christians believed in Universal Reconciliation pre-dating the latin vulgate. This faith for many believers has been a result in a paradigm shift in how they read the bible which tends to resolve what they formally perceived as contradictions where upon to them the Bible supports the notion fully. Believers fully love God because they do not feel like they HAVE to go through motions in fear for their mortal souls. Believers naturally love their neighbors and their enemy's as Jesus would have us do.

Some popular passages in the bible which support Universal reconciliation are:
-

- and by Him to reconcile (apokatallasso) all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross. (Colossians 1:20)

1 Corinthians 15:22

For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive.

Romans 11:32

For God has committed them all to disobedience, that He might have mercy on all.

see Universalism
Universalist: What does "(and for this we labor and strive), that we have put our hope in the living God, who is the Savior of ALL MEN, and especially of those who believe."- (1 Timothy 4:10) mean to you?

Athiest: I guess it means if there is a God then that means we'll all get to heaven. Universal Reconciliation.

Fundementalist: You're twisting the words around and taking the verse out of context here... All doesn't mean All.
God is only the savior of those who accept him.

Universalist: That is not what it says however and I'm sorry you don't see it that way. Someday everyone will see and know and what a wonderful day that will be.

reconnect with nature

What a girl says after engaging in fatherless activities or behaviors. This often happens the following morning or day after a night out. If you hear this phrase you know she was treeshin, doing something her family would disown her for, something that would cause her boyfriend to want to throw up, or all of the above.
“I need to reconnect with nature after whatever that just was over Halloweekend.”

Chinny Reckon

This means 'yeah right' or 'I don't beleive you'. It is pronounced 'chinny re-kon' and has more impact if you say it whilst stroking your chin. We used to say it at primary school, but it might just be a Northern thing!
"You get £100 pocket money a week?"
