Great example of false advertising. Instead of paying direct cash for an overpriced mp3 player, you succumb to the soul craving corporate conglomerates by signing up for any number of "offers." A successfull offer earns credit towards a free ipod. These "offers" tend to be premium (read: costly) coupon saving subscriptions and/or skin cream demos. The only hitch is trying to cancel a subscription to said offer. After completing the offer, all you have to do is force 5 people to do the same.

iPod

Provided by the company Apple, it lets you play songs in the version of a mp3 music format. It also lets you play videos and movies, as well as let you view photos. You can add contacts to your iPod, notes, and can play various games. You can download more stuff at the iTunes store. iPods have a variety of colors and types, all differences by gigabytes and size.

I think I'm lucky to have a 8GB iPod Nano.

ipod dump

the act of transferring a large number of cds to your computer to be downloaded to your ipod. an ipod dump is more or less an often uninterrupted marathon cd transferring session, often b/c the cds are borrowed from others, kind of a hit and run swipe of a friend's entire collection that's gotta be returned soon, hence the necessity of a marathon.

That one person that can name the song, artist, album, composer, writer and label an artist puts out. This person can also do this from a few beats of a song.

Friend: Hey, what song is this?
You: That's Nu Shooz with "I Can't Wait" off of their album 'Poolside'. They are a husband and wife team that wrote this song about wanting to get "together" *wink wink* after a long day. It's release was in the 80's. Thety are also a one hit wonder.

This is also known as the 5G ipod. It is substantially smaller than the 4G, is able to play videos, comes in black and white, has a larger screen, and is still priced the same.
