HMOTY (Hockey Mom of the Year) will do anything—from lying, cheating and stealing to sleeping with whomever it takes—to ensure that her precious offspring make the top youth hockey teams in their age brackets. HMOTY can be spotted at the rink sporting fake blond hair with three-inch roots, ripped jeans that are a little too tight in the thighs, and flirting with any/every coach that influences her kids' placements.
