Hippiecrite

A hippie who is a hypocrite. Baby boomer who used to be a hippie who was skeptical of big government, three letter agencies and big business, but now as grown ups, they eagerly embrace the things they were so skeptical of.

I saw my old hippie buddies Joan and Bob the other day. She's an exec at a big bank and he works for big pharma. They're total hippiecrites.

Some who is an advocate of anti climate change yet has a carbon footprint the size of Paris Hilton's.

ie

To be sat in a coffee room in a university sporting a sticker on your thermos declaring ones support for reducing climate change whilst discussing the merits of having jetted off to Portugal and the Americas for the summer.

"see that girl with the sticker on her mug?... she's such a hippycrite."

A woman of large stature or weight, who is either skanky, slutty, a bitch, or a combination of the three terms. (Hippo is to describe the fat, and cat or "pussy" to describe her skankyness.)

Guy 1:That chick's a total Hippocat dude.
Guy 2: Why?

Guy 2: Makes sense.

A famous person or large corporation so obviously deceitful in what they say that no-one believes a word they say. They are oblivious to the fact that everybody else sees them differently to how they see themselves

1. Hippocritapotamus: a large oil (or mining) corporation trying to convince the public that they are 'going green' by greenwashing their public image, but not actually cleaning up their act one tiny bit.
